FINDLAY, OH : Bluffton woman killed in Hancock County crash on Wednesday, September 27th 2017
A 22-year-old Bluffton woman died Wednesday morning in Hancock County of injuries suffered in a single-vehicle traffic accident.
According to a statement issued by the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched shortly after 6 a.m. to the scene of the crash on county Road 216, just east of township Road 243, in Washington Township. Officials said Ashley Deardorff was driving a 2007 Honda Civic when the vehicle entered a curve. She lost control and the vehicle left the south side of the roadway before rolling several times.
Deardorff was trapped inside the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
