Marysville, CA : Oroville man killed in head-on crash on snowy Forbestown Road on Sunday, January 22nd 2017

An Oroville man was killed Sunday evening when he lost control of his vehicle in snowy conditions and crashed into another vehicle on Forbestown Road.
Around 4:30 p.m., the 52-year-old driver was eastbound when he lost control. His 1994 Ford Ranger crossed the double line and collided head-on with a vehicle driven by Harlan Rowe, 33, of Oroville.
The California Highway Patrol said the Ranger was traveling at speeds unsafe for conditions.
No one in Rowe's 2015 Toyota 4Runner was injured, according to reports. No arrests were made.
The driver, unnamed pending notice to relatives, was pronounced dead at the scene by Butte County rescue personnel.
Forbestown Road was closed for about four hours after the accident for clean-up.
Assisting were personnel from and CalFire-Butte County and Yuba County, Butte County Sheriff's Office and Yuba County Public Works.
