Seville, OH : Motorcyclist killed in crash in northern Ohio on Friday afternoon, September 19, 2014

Authorities say a Seville man died after his motorcycle crossed the center line of a road in northern Ohio and was struck by an oncoming vehicle. The Ohio State Highway Patrol identified the man in the Friday afternoon crash as 56-year-old James M. Gardner. The accident occurred on Guilford Township Road 146, also named Prospect Street. Authorities say Gardner was taken to a hospital but died of his injuries. They say the driver of the vehicle, 61-year-old Gary L. Dawkins, also of Seville, was not hurt.
