A tractor-trailer collided with a car, killing an Upstate man Sunday night, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the wreck happened Sunday about 9:10 p.m. on South Pine Street at Rushing Road, two miles east of Spartanburg.
The wreck involved a 2011 Freightliner and a 2001 Chrysler four-door sedan, troopers said.
The driver of the Chrysler, 35-year-old Terwayne Wannamaker, of Pacolet, was transported to Spartanburg Regional trauma center and where he later died, according to Coroner Rusty Clevenger.
The driver of the tractor-trailer, from Virginia, was not injured, troopers said.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident, troopers said.
