Hampton , NH : One Woman Charged with DWI after she crashed her car on Interstate 95 early Sunday morning, May 17th 2015

State police said an Exeter woman was charged with driving while intoxicated after she crashed her car on Interstate 95 early Sunday morning.

Troopers said the accident happened shortly before 2:30 a.m. on the southbound side of the interstate, just north of the Hampton toll plaza. A preliminary investigation revealed that a 2008 Ford Taurus, driven by Meritel Saintil, 32, crashed head-on into a divider that separates the two high-speed open road tolling lanes from the other travel lanes.

State police said Saintil was transported to Exeter Hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. All three lanes of travel were shut down for about 30 minutes while the crash was investigated, troopers said.
