One person died in a traffic accident on Hwy. 603 just feet away from Kiln-Waveland Cutoff Rd. in Bay St. Louis around 1:30 Tuesday afternoon.
Police say the driver of a white four-door car collided with a dark colored pickup truck in the median of the highway.
The driver of the car was taken to the hospital in serious condition. His passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the truck was not seriously hurt.
The identities of those involved in the crash are not being released at this time.
