Albany, LA : Independence man killed in two-vehicle head-on crash on Thursday, November 27, 2014

Louisiana State Police say a 39-year-old Independence man was killed Thursday in a two-vehicle accident in Livingston Parish. State police have identified the victim as Harold D. Conaster. The crash occurred on Louisiana Highway 40. State police say in a news release that the accident occurred when a car apparently crossed the center line and collided head-on with Conaster's pickup truck.
