Judsonia, AR : Two-vehicle accident kills one on U.S. Highway 67 near Judsonia on Wednesday, 29th January, 2020
A 24-year-old Bald Knob woman died Wednesday night after being rear-ended on U.S. Highway 67 near Judsonia.
Katelyn Littlejohn was driving southbound in the left lane on U.S. 67 in a 2003 Nissan when a 2007 Nissan traveling "directly behind" her struck the left rear of the vehicle, according to the Arkansas State Police. The vehicle Littlejohn was driving crossed the "far right" lane and left the roadway before coming to a stop on the right roadside facing west. The other vehicle veered left and struck the cable barrier before veering back to the right and stopping on the highway.
The accident occurred at 9:56 p.m. near mile marker 48. Also injured were Brittany Merwether, 30 of Searcy and an unidentified female minor who were passengers in the 2003 Nissan, and Brodrick Handsborough, 27, of Rosharon, Texas, a passenger in the 2007 Nissan.The injured were taken to Unity Health-White County Medical Center, according to the report.
