Allamakee County Man Dies in Rollover Crash

A northeast Iowa man is dead following a single-vehicle rollover crash in Allamakee County.

The sheriff's office said it happened just before 10:00 Saturday morning on White Pine Road, about a mile south of Waterville.

Investigators said the 49-year-old man was driving south when his vehicle went off the road and rolled, landing on its top, partially submerged in Paint Creek.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators have not released his name.
