MADISON, WI : 1 dead in crash night crash on downtown Madison street on Wednesday, 9th August 2023

Madison police say one person was killed in a car crash at the intersection of South Park Street and West Washington Ave Wednesday night.

Madison Police says the crash happened just after 9 p.m. The condition of the person who survived is not known yet.

The intersection is now back open to traffic. The name of the person killed has not been released. An investigation into what happened is ongoing.
