CHARLOTTE COUNTY, FL : Four people were killed on Sunday, July 2, 2017

Four people were killed early Sunday morning when their car collided with another and burst into flames, the Florida Highway Patrol reports.

According to reports, an Audi A4 with four passengers was traveling east on Rosemonte Driver around 3:35 a.m., approaching the intersection of Sunnybrook Boulevard. The driver apparently failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a car traveling north on Sunnybrook.

The Audi became engulfed in fire after the crash and all four inside were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the second vehicle, Michael J. Holcomb, 43, and his four passengers, Marsha Holcomb, 41; Luke Holcomb, 15; and Tori Holcomb, 13; and Kra Holcomb, 10, all of Whitesburg, Kentucky, suffered minor injuries and were taken to Englewood Hospital.

The identities of the four dead have not been released yet.

Charges are pending and the accident remain under investigation.
