Inglewood ,CA :Man killed in two-car crash on 405 on Friday morning ,June 12th 2015

A man was killed in a fiery two-vehicle collision that closed lanes on the southbound 405 Freeway in Inglewood for hours Friday morning, officials said.

The crash occurred at about 7:44 a.m. near the Florence Avenue exit, the California Highway Patrol reported. The unidentified man died at the scene of the crash after his car was engulfed in flames, CHP Public Affairs Officer Kevin Tao said.

Information on the condition of the other vehicle’s driver was not immediately available.

Three far right southbound lanes were closed for about an hour while the CHP conducted its investigation.

Tao said two lanes were opened at noon, but the far right lane remained closed.
