LAS VEGAS, NV : DUI driver sentenced in crash that took life of 2 teens KTNV Staff on Thursday, 19th November, 2020

A woman who admitted to taking drugs and drinking prior to a crash that killed two teens in August gave an emotional apology on Thursday.

"I would like to apologize to both of the families because I never intended for something like this to happen," Whitaker said.

Ebone Whitaker, 38, was in court on Thursday and was served a sentence of up to 25 years in prison.

She was also ordered to pay restitution to the families of both victims.
