Tallahassee, FL : Eustis man killed in two-car crash on State Road 44 on Thursday, 27th December 2018

A Eustis man was killed and a Eustis woman was seriously injured in a head-on crash on State Road 44 on Friday afternoon.

According to a report by the Florida Highway Patrol, Elizabeth Michaud, 64, was driving north on SR 44 at Tomahawk Trail in a 2012 Dodge SUV and Joseph Miller was driving south in a 2006 Dodge van when the two vehicles collided at 1:40 p.m.

Michaud’s passenger, Edgar Michaud, 86, was killed in the crash and Elizabeth Michaud was transported to Florida Hospital DeLand with serious injuries.

Miller was not injured in the crash, according to FHP.

The crash remains under investigation and troopers ask that anyone who witnessed the crash call them at 407-737-2213.
