Aiken, SC : Coroner IDs 2 killed motorcycle accident in Aiken on Friday, 26th August, 2016

The Aiken County Coroner’s Office has identified two Aiken County residents who were killed in a motorcycle accident Thursday night and discovered Friday morning.Jason P. Moore, 37, of Graniteville, and Amanda L. Tarver, 30, of Aiken, were pronounced dead Friday at the scene of the motorcycle crash that occurred late Thursday night on the 9000 block of Richland Avenue in Aiken, according to a statement issued by Aiken County Chief Deputy Coroner Darryl Ables.The two were not discovered until Friday morning, Ables said.Moore was operating the motorcycle and Tarver was a passenger when the motorcycle veered off the right side of Richland Avenue and struck a curb, ejecting both riders off the motorcycle, according to the statement.

Ables said both died of blunt force injuries, and toxicology analysis is pending.
