Memorial ride to honor Dennis Myers, state trooper killed in Van Buren County .

Motorcyclists will ride through Van Buren, Kalamazoo and Berrien Counties, covering the route Trooper Dennis Myers would drive regularly as a Michigan State Police motor carrier officer.The Dennis Myers memorial ride on Saturday, Sept. 21 will honor Myers, who died from injuries suffered in a rollover accident in Van Buren County last month.The ride will start and end at Legends Sports Bar & Grille in Paw Paw. After the ride, lunch and entertainment will be available to the riders and the public. Registration is from 9 to 11 a.m. and requires a $20 donation for a single rider and a $30 donation for rider and passenger.The proceeds will benefit Myers' wife and two sons, ages 9 and 11.
