Casper, WY : Box Elder man involved in fatal crash in Wyoming on Monday, June 30, 2014

A Casper, Wyo., couple died Monday when their sports utility vehicle drifted across Interstate 25 into the path of a commercial truck driven by David Dobbin, 59, of Box Elder.

According to the Wyoming Highway Patrol, 83-year-old Duane Hartman's southbound 2003 Mitsubishi Outlander was attempting to enter the southbound highway when it turned left across both lanes of travel on the interstate.

Dobbin's southbound truck collided with the driver's side of the Hartman vehicle in the left-hand lane.

Hartman and his wife, 68-year-old Linda Hartman, died at the scene.

Dobbin was treated and released from a Casper hospital.

The occupants of both vehicles were wearing seat belts.
