Hanson County, SD : Mitchell women identified following fatal crash on Thursday, 13th December 2018

Two Mitchell residents have been identified as the victims of a one-vehicle rollover crash in Hanson County.

Darcy Constant, 43, and Lisa Shippy, 52, died from injuries sustained in the crash, according to death notices published in Thursday's edition of The Daily Republic.The crash occurred at 10:35 p.m, four miles east of Mitchell on Interstate 90, when a westbound 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer lost control, entered the median and rolled several times before coming to rest on its roof in the eastbound lanes.

The vehicle included a 17-year-old female who suffered serious, non-life-threatening injuries. None of the occupants were wearing seat belts.
