PROVIDENCE, RI : Cranston man dies in crash; Providence man charged with DUI on Saturday, 20th October 2018

A Cranston man who was not wearing a seat belt was ejected from the car he was riding in and died Saturday after the car struck a median near Branch Avenue on Route 95 northbound at about 3:10 a.m., according to the state police.

Jason E. Irizarry, 35, of 944 Cranston St., Cranston, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a news release from Col. Ann C. Assumpico, superintendent of the state police.
