Nashville, TN : FedEx truck driver injured in hit-and-run crash on I-24 in south Nashville on Friday, March 4, 2016

Police are investigating a possible hit-and-run on Interstate 24 West in south Nashville.

A driver, possibly in a silver car, swerved toward a wall and hit a FedEx truck, causing it to lose control and crash in the embankment near Harding Place around 2:20 a.m. Friday.

The FedEx employee has minor injuries. Workers are figuring out what to do next with the packages the truck was hauling.

Police are looking for a silver car with front end damage. Witnesses were not able to provide any further description of the driver or the car.

Right now, the truck is on the shoulder and is not blocking any lanes.
