Concord, NC : 36-year-old woman killed in a head-on collision in Concord on Wednesday morning, December 17, 2014

A woman died from injuries sustained in a head-on collision Wednesday morning in Concord. Police say Della Jean Brown died at Carolinas Medical Center-Northeast shortly after arriving. After investigating, police say Brown was driving north on Rutherford Street at 9:21 a.m. when her Suzuki crossed over the center line of travel and hit Heather Lennon's Ford van head-on. Officials say Lennon was also taken to CMC-Northeast with minor injuries. According to Concord police, the crash is still under investigation. Source : Woman dies in Concord head-on collision
