Greeley, CO : One man dead, another injured in single-vehicle rollover crash near Ault on Saturday, October 11, 2014

Authorities say a 52-year-old man who was involved in a single-vehicle rollover crash near Ault has died. The Colorado State Patrol says Kurt Danner, of Ault, lost control of his car on Weld County Road 33, overcorrected and spun into a ditch at about 5:30 p.m. Saturday. The coroner's office says Danner, who was not wearing a seatbelt, died early Monday morning. The Greeley Tribune reports a passenger, 40-year-old Mathew Rice, also of Ault, was wearing his seatbelt. He was treated for minor injuries at a Greeley hospital. Trooper Nate Reid says investigators believe alcohol and speed played a role in the crash.
