A driver who caused a crash Saturday morning in the toll area of Interstate 78 West in Williams Township took off and is being sought be police, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
The crash happened at 11:11 a.m. as Maxine Kelanic and Harold L. Sharrow were in a 2005 GMC Sierra going through the express toll lanes, police said. A gray compact car -- possibly a Mazda -- was approaching the pay lanes when it swerved left toward the express lanes and stuck the passenger side front of the truck, police said.
The car, which likely has damage to the left front or entire front end, then fled, getting off at the Easton exit at Morgan Hill Road, state police said.
