LAS VEGAS, NV : 1 dead, 1 injured in southwest motorcycle crash on Thursday, 20th June 2024

A motorcyclist died following a crash in the southwest Las Vegas valley on Thursday.

It happened shortly before 3:30 p.m. near Arby Avenue and Durango Drive.

According to Las Vegas Metro police, the motorcyclist was traveling southbound on Durango Drive approaching the intersection at Arby Avenue in the middle travel lane at a high rate of speed.

A truck was traveling northbound on Durango Drive and south of Arby Avenue and entered the only left turn lane. The truck stopped and then turned onto Arby Avenue entering the motorcyclist’s path of travel and that is when the crash occurred, police stated.
