HAUGHTON, LA : Pedestrian killed in Bossier Parish crash on U.S.Highway 80 near Chandler Road on Sunday, 9th February, 2020

A Haughton man is dead after he was hit by a car Sunday night. It happened about 8:30 p.m. on U.S.Highway 80 near Chandler Road.

Investigators say Kirk Reedy, 59, was attempting to cross the westbound lanes of Highway 80 when he was hit by an Audi A3. He later died.

The driver of the car was not injured in the crash and submitted to toxicology tests; however, impairment is not suspected.

The crash remains under investigation.
