Hutchinson, KS : Great Bend man sent to hospital after head-on crash on Wednesday, January 18th 2017

A Great Bend man was sent to the hospital after his vehicle hit another vehicle head-on in Larned.

Michael D. Ringo, 39, was driving a 2005 Dodge Stratus west on Trail Street in Larned, when his vehicle went left of center less than a mile south of U.S.

His vehicle then hit a 2006 Ford F-150 driven by Margarita Basilio-Ramirez, 38, of Garden City, head on, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol report.

Ringo was transported to Pawnee County Hospital with injuries.

Basilio-Ramirez was not hurt.

Both were wearing their seat belts.
