Dayton, OH : One person injured after van crashes into pole on N. Main Street and Knecht Drive on Friday, Oct 23, 2015

At least one person was taken to the hospital after an accident in Dayton.

Police responded to N. Main Street and Knecht Drive at about 9:00 p.m.

Police say a minivan crashed into an RTA pole and decorative brick wall before catching fire.

They say there were two passengers in the van and the driver took off on foot. No other vehicles were involved.

Officials say that section of N. Main is temporarily closed for cleanup.

The crash is under investigation.
