Cincinnati, OH : Pedestrian hit, killed by car in Florence on Monday, September 12, 2016

A Florence man was hit by a car and killed late Monday, according to Florence police.

Randall Sexton was crossing Turfway Road in the 7200 block when he was hit by a Mitsubishi Eclipse just before midnight. Sexton was wearing dark-colored pants and wasn't in a crosswalk when he was hit, police said.

Sexton was declared dead by officials at the scene.

David Lane, also of Florence, was driving the Mitsubishi.

No charges have been filed and the crash is still under investigation, police said.
