The Charleston Police Department is looking for the driver who hit and killed two pedestrians on a downtown road Sunday morning.
The Charleston Police Department received the report of the crash on Morrison Drive between Harris Street and Cooper Street around 8:30 a.m., Public Information Officer Chris Stinson said. The time of the actual crash has yet to been determined.
The investigation impacted traffic for hours before all lanes officially reopened around 6 p.m.
Lt. Anthony Gibson with the Charleston Police Department says information is limited and more details will be released on Monday.
