BATON ROUGE, LA : 1 injured after crash leads to oil spill on I-110 on Saturday, 5th August 2023

The northbound lanes of Interstate 110 opened after a crash caused a fuel leak.

The Baton Rouge Fire Department said they responded to an accident in the northbound lanes of I-110 just before the Evangeline Street exit Saturday morning. The accident resulted in an oil and diesel spill leak on the road.

The fire department said there is no threat to the public but closed the northbound lanes for safety reasons. One person was sent to the hospital, and the extent of their injuries is unknown.
