BRUNEAU, ID : 2 injured in crash near Bruneau on Sunday, 11th August 2019

wo drivers were injured in a collision near Bruneau Sunday afternoon.

Idaho State Police say 26-year-old Michael T. Richardson of Nampa was driving west on the highway in a 2007 Dodge Dakota when he attempted to turn south onto a dirt road and was struck from behind by a 2005 Chevrolet Suburban. The suburban was driven by Terry L. Willden, 61, of Seymour, Texas.Both drivers were wearing their seat belts, according to police. Willden was taken by air ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. Richardson was taken by ground ambulance to St. Luke's Elmore Medical Center in Mountain Home.

Idaho State Police investigated the crash at 1:22 p.m. on State Highway 78 at mile marker 85, where the lanes were blocked for about two hours.
