One dead in northeast Travis County motorcycle accident

A man is dead following an automobile and motorcycle accident on FM 973 and Pfluger Berkman Road.The accident occurred just after 6:30 Friday night when a Toyota Sienna occupied by a couple from Virginia heading south on FM 973 attempted to turn left on Pluger Berkman Road. The van turned in front of a Harley Davidson motorcycle, which was heading north on FM 973.The motorcycle driver, 58-year-old Michael Calhoun from Coupland, was pronounced dead at the scene.The Toyota driver, 73-year-old Constance Kagan was transported to Seton Hospital in Williamson County with minor injuries.
