NASHVILLE, TN : 2 injured in truck v. golf cart crash on 12th Avenue South and South Street on Wednesday, 13th March 2019

Two people were taken to the hospital after a pick-up truck and a Joyride Golf Cart collided on Wednesday afternoon.

The crash happened on 12th Avenue South and South Street just before noon.

Nashville Fire Dept. EMTs took at least one person from the scene on a stretcher.

According to officials on the scene, the driver of suburban had a medical emergency and hit the golf cart, which was stopped at red light at 12th Ave S. and South Street.

The driver of the golf cart was transported to Vandy and so was the driver of suburban with non-life threatening injuries.

No citations or tickets were issued in the crash.
