Three people are hurt after a wreck on State Road 64 in Gibson County.

According to Indiana State Police, it happened around 8:40 Thursday night near CR 970 West.

Troopers say 33-year-old Jessica Perry, of Mt. Carmel, IL, was driving east on SR 64 when for unknown reasons drove left of center and collided head-on into a car heading west.

The driver that car, 19-year-old Austin Olvera, of Mt. Carmel, IL, was taken to Wabash General Hospital where he was treated and released.

Olvera’s passenger, 22-year-old Heaven Simpson, also of Mt. Carmel, IL, was taken Deaconess Hospital where she is currently being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

SR 64 was closed for about two hours while crews worked the scene.
