Tulsa, OK : Teenage passenger dies from injuries after wreck near Kellyville on Friday, September 1, 2017

A teenager who was admitted to the Children’s Hospital at Saint Francis in Tulsa after a single-vehicle wreck near Kellyville last weekend died a day later, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report released Friday.

Three male teenagers were in a 2015 Kia Forte driven by 19-year-old James Young of Tulsa when it ran off the right side of the road and struck a concrete ditch and a tree, according to the report.

The wreck happened on Slick Road near 191st Street southwest of Kellyville in Creek County.

The condition of the driver, the cause of the collision and other factors are all “under investigation,” according to the OHP report.
