Pierre, SD : Teen injured after a Rollover crash near Pierre on Wednesday, October 26, 2016

Tony Mangan, a spokesman with the South Dakota Department of Public Safety said a 15-year-old male was driving a 2003 chevrolet S-10 pickup when the vehicle drifted into the wrong lane. The driver overcorrected sending the small truck into the road ditch.

The truck rolled three to four times, Mangan said, before coming to rest. The driver was taken to Avera St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment, Mangan said.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol investigated the crash and charges are pending, Mangan said.
