Morrisville,VT : Woman arrested after fatal crash in Johnson on November, Wednesday 8th 2017

One person is dead following a crash on Route 15 in Johnson Wednesday night, and another has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Police received a call around 6:40 p.m., about a three-vehicle crash near Nadeau’s Gravel Pit. When they arrived on scene, two cars were heavily damaged and a third had sustained minor damage.

Shelley Stevenson, 27, of Eden was traveling east when she crossed the center line colliding with the westbound vehicle of 59-year-old Eileen O’Brien of Johnson, who was entrapped in the car.


Emergency personnel worked to extricate O’Brien from her vehicle, but she died at the scene.

Stevenson was transported to Copley Hospital for evaluation.

After her release she was arrested for suspicion of DUI with death resulting, and gross negligent operation with death resulting.
