Jamestown, ND : A Valley City man was injured in a motorcycle accident near Enderlin on Sunday, August 6, 2017

A Valley City man was injured in a motorcycle accident near Enderlin Sunday, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at about 5:10 p.m. in Ransom County.

Rose Johnson, 65, Nome, N.D., was northbound stopped at a stop sign on a side street to N.D. Highway 46 when she turned west. She failed to yield to a 1982 Honda GL 500 motorcycle driven by Scott Paulson, 57.

Paulson’s motorcycle had been traveling eastbound and struck the left front fender of Johnson’s 2016 Chevrolet Equinox. Both vehicles came to rest on the eastbound lane at the intersection.

Paulson was wearing a helmet and suffered nonlife-threatening injuries. He was transported by ambulance to a Fargo hospital.

The patrol is investigating the crash.
