The rider of a motorcycle received serious injuries Saturday in a one-vehicle accident that occurred on Stockbridge Road, according to Great Barrington Police.
The accident occurred in an area of Stockbridge Road (Route 7) near the Briarcliff Motel, according to a posting on the Police Department's Facebook page.
Police closed Stockbridge Road from Lover's Lane to Monument Valley Road after the accident. No further information was available.
