A Lee County man has died after a single-vehicle crash Sunday night.
Lee County Coroner Larry Logan said Justin Boyd, 24, of Lynchburg, died at Palmetto Health Tuomey from injuries sustained in the crash.
Highway Patrol said Boyd was driving a 2007 Chrysler 300 south on Highway 341 at about 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Boyd reportedly drove off the right side of the road, overcorrected and went off the left side of the road. He hit a culvert, and the vehicle overturned several times. Troopers said he was ejected from the vehicle.
Boyd was transported to the hospital, where he died Sunday night.
Logan said the accident happened about 2 miles from where Boyd lived.
