A woman who crashed into a guardrail on Interstate 77 in north Mecklenburg County early Thursday morning is charged with DWI, police say.It happened just after 2 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-77 near the Gilead Road exit.
Authorities say the woman lost control of her car and hit a guardrail before going off the road.
