Germantown, WI : Bicyclist died in hit-and-run crash in Washington County on Sunday, Aug 23, 2015

Police say a bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Germantown in Washington County.

The Germantown Police Department says the crash happened at 8:15 p.m. Sunday. According to police, a 50-year-old man was on a bicycle that was struck from behind by a vehicle that fled the scene.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was not released.

Police say the vehicle they suspect hit the bicycle is a Mazda 3 that's dark in color and has damage on the front end of the passenger side.
