Two teens were badly injured Saturday night in a hit-and-run crash in Seminole County.
Florida Highway Patrol said Emmanuel Galarza, 18, and Brandyn Keif, 19, were hit on Lake Howell and Maywood roads and the driver fled the scene.Resident Adam Summer tells WESH 2 he heard the impact and saw a silver Mazda driving away.
It's shocking someone would ever consider leaving two people hit like that, it really is," said Summer.
The FHP said they found a passenger side mirror from what they believe was a 2014 or 2015 silver or gray Mazda.
Residents in the area say people commonly ignore the speed limit on the stretch of road and that the road is poorly lit.
