Texas City, TX : A single-vehicle accident in Texas City on Friday, June 23, 2017

A single-vehicle accident in Texas City on Friday night left one person dead and another critically injured, according to the Texas City Police Department.

Officers were dispatched to the 3200 block of State Highway 146 North in Texas City at 8:16 p.m. Friday, according to a news release. A yellow Nissan SUV traveling south left the roadway. The driver and passenger were thrown from the vehicle.
