Columbus, OH : Man killed in head-on collision in Morrow County on Saturday, October, 14th 2017
One man was killed in a head-on collision Saturday night in Morrow County.
Gerald F. Burdine, 51, of Lexington, was driving a pickup truck southbound on Rt. 314, also known as Chesterville-Shelby Road, in Perry Township shortly after 8 p.m. when his truck drove left-of-center and struck a semi driven by Ronald L. Schroeder, 62, of Crestline, according to the Mount Gilead Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Burdine, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Schroeder, who was wearing a seat belt, was treated for minor injuries.
The crash remained under investigation early Sunday.
