Alexandria, MN : Two people from Garfield were injured on Saturday, July 22, 2017
Two people from Garfield were injured when the van they were in was rear-ended west of Alexandria.
Dale Haagenstad, 67, and Mary Haagenstad, 56, were taken to Douglas County Hospital after the crash that occurred about 11:30 p.m. Saturday, July 22.
The Minnesota State Patrol said they sustained non-life-threatening injuries when the Dodge Caravan driven by Dale Haagenstad was hit by a Ford pickup truck driven by a 17-year-old girl.
The van was eastbound on Minnesota Highway 27 and was slowing to turn onto Minnesota Highway 114 when it was struck by the pickup.
The driver of the pickup, whom the state patrol did not identify, and a passenger in the pickup, Floyd Jenson, 57, of Nisswa, were not injured.
