North Fort Myers, FL : Two-vehicle crash kills one on U.S. 41 on Saturday, 15th February, 2020

A man was killed and a passenger on their tri-wheeled motorcycle seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash Saturday night on U.S. 41 in North Fort Myers.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash and has not released the name of the man killed due to the notification of next of kin.
The crash happened at 8 p.m at 41 and Lake Fairways Boulevard. The FHP said a 57-year-old North Fort Myers man, driving a 2018 Can-Am Spyder three-wheeled motorcycle, was heading south on 41 towards Lake Fairways.
A 2012 Kia Optima was being driven north on 41 by Patricia Ann Mcauley, 70, of North Fort Myers, and also approaching Lake Fairways.
The FHP said Mcauley turned in front of the Spyder and the motorcycle hit the front right side of the Kia.
