FALL RIVER, MA : Driver charged after crash injuring three paramedics on Friday, 5th July 2024

Police said a car rear-ended an emergency vehicle night in Fall River, injuring several paramedics.
The Fall River Police Department said the collision occurred around 10:45 p.m. in the area of Davol Street and Central Street, significantly damaging both vehicles.
Three paramedics in the EMS vehicle and the driver of the car were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police said the driver was cited at the scene and faces several charges, including operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and possession of an open container.
All three paramedics were discharged from the hospital the night of the crash.
