SAN ANTONIO, TX : A woman was killed on May, Monday 1st 2017

A woman was killed Monday afternoon after crashing into the back of an 18-wheeler on the Interstate 35 South access road on the Northeast Side.
Police responded to the crash around 1:30 p.m. just past the Rittiman Road exit ramp, where they found the woman's crumpled SUV pinned underneath the 18-wheeler.
Sgt. Brian Bielefeld said the 18-wheeler had to stop for traffic ahead, but for some reason the woman wasn't able to slow down in time to avoid crashing into it.
