Clay County,FL : Woman killed in crash on County Road 209 on September, Wednesday 6th 2017

A 47-year-old woman was killed Wednesday morning in a crash on County Road 209 in Clay County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The woman's name has not been released because her family has not yet been notified.

According to the FHP report, the woman's Toyota Camry was headed east on CR 209 and a white Chevrolet 3500 pulling construction equipment was traveling westbound on CR 209.

Troopers are still investigating the cause, but they said the woman drove onto the grass shoulder and lost control of the car, driving into the path of the truck.

The driver of the Camry died at the scene. The driver of the truck was not injured.
